Please get your application in for the Fred Jensen Memorial Scholarship. The due date is fast approaching-the deadline is April 10th. We will award the winners at the 2020 Alabama State Shoot. If the 2020 Alabama State Shoot cannot be held due to the current Coronavirus Pandemic, we will mail the money to the recipients.

The Fred Jensen Memorial Scholarship is on the state ATA website under Latest News. Click on alabamatrap.com and it will give you the link to go to. The requirements are on the application. This is a good way for a shooter to continue his/her shooting for the future. It is a $250 scholarship to be given to a male and female shooter to be used for anything pertaining to shooting.
We are closed until further notice. The city wants us to cease operation until things get better. Hopefully it won’t be for long and we will let you know as soon as it is over.
The 2020 Southwestern Grand has been cancelled. Make sure to mark your calendars for next year though! The 2021 Southwestern Grand will be held April 6-11, 2021 at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, TX.

Jefferson County has enacted orders that all non-essential businesses and activities close to the public as of Friday evening.
The NRA and CMP have canceled all sanctioned and registered matches also.
Therefore, MCGC is closed to all organized matches and practices.
The club is still open for individual members to practice on their on and shooters should follow the guidelines the CDC has posted and keep a 6’ distance etc.
I will post here when we have the ok to reopen.

Muscle Shoals Skeet and Trap Shoot scheduled for 3/28/2020 has been cancelled. We’ll start our silver dollar shoots in April.
After considering the situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the need to safeguard the health of our trapshooting participants, the Board of Directors has decided to cancel the 2020 Georgia State Trapshoot. This decision did not come without much consideration and thought, and it is the hope of our President, Mike Reed, that we might be able to have an abbreviated two day event sometime later in the year. We do hope you, your family and friends remain healthy and safe.
